A day in Jinju
Sometimes you just want something other than the usual.
Yesterday lunch was a burger eaten over an assignment, and at night it was fried chicken on the way home after gaming with a friend. It tasted fine — but don't you often want something with a bit more character?
I felt the same. As a student at Gyeongsang National University I rotated between burgers, burritos and sandwiches every day. Food was the best part of my day, so I went looking for something different. I tried Seoul, Daegu, Daejeon and Busan, but found nothing special.
So I started making it myself. First for friends, then for the regulars at the place where I worked part-time. Watching them enjoy it, I made up my mind: one day I would open my own shop with this food.
Last year I opened that shop, and spent a long time refining the sauces and recipes for Korean tastes. That is how the food people eat on streets all over the world came to be made by my own hands, here in Jinju.

Halal Rice Bowl

남강축제같은곳 가면 파는 케밥보다 단품가격은 비슷하지만 양이 훨씬많고 고기도 두툼하고 무엇보다 맛있어요 !
